As well as making products, BILULU runs courses as a practical way of raising levels of environmental awareness.
The BILULU ACADEMY is an expression of Lucrezia Moro’s desire, as an artisan, to share her practical knowledge on dyeing, knitting, embroidery and mending.

Lucrezia founded BILULU in 2013 as a result of her personal research into natural dyes and knitting practices, combining it with a naturally-hybrid, immersive approach to craftsmanship.
Lucrezia studies and experiments daily (editor’s note: she’s a nerd!), always learning and, day by day, developing meaningful consumption strategies and ways of getting back to nature. Through the BILULU project and her teaching work, she actively encourages consumers to re-evaluate our society’s relationship to clothing.
Lucrezia lives with her two sons, Ettore and Arturo, and three cats in the countryside north of Rome, in a rural hamlet located on an organic farm, between rolling hills of vineyards and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
