Handcrafted clothing reconnecting tradition, Nature and lifestyle.

BILULU came into being in 2013 as a natural next step for Lucrezia Moro after she embarked on an exploration of nature, specifically through craftsmanship and natural dyes. Ever since BILULU first started handmaking knitwear garments, the brand has sought craftsmanship excellence by making unique, bespoke garments: basic, timeless clothing dyed using self-produced, plant-based colours of site-specific origin.

BILULU fosters sustainability through its garments, which embody an informed respect for the environment, a collaborative relationship with the cyclical nature of natural processes, and, last but not least, a symbiotic relationship with the raw materials from which they are made. Nature guides many of the choices that have helped the brand develop: natural dyes, certified, traceable-origin yarns, compostable packaging, paper tools made using textile industry waste, and low energy impact manufacturing processes.

BILULU’s goal is to make garments with ever greater care, minimizing their impact on the environment and raising awareness about sustainability and Italian crafts heritage.

BILULU offers a chance to reconnect with this crafts heritage through its relaxed and informal style that are the hallmark of its two lines, BASIC and TAILORED, each of which expresses the brand’s concept in its own way.
